700 YEAR OLD ITALIAN CHRISTMAS TRADITION - NATIVITY SCENE SAN GREGORIO A...
The Italian Christmas Nativity tradition or Presepe goes back to 1233 and in the video, we learn how it had adapted to the 21st century in Naples, Enzo's city, by taking a walk in Via San Gregorio Armeno, “Presepe street“ and then in our village where we visit Roberto Bertolini, a local craftsman who continues the tradition. We also create, as we do every year, our own crib, with the inn, the market sellers and many traditional characters, using Enzo's family's statues.
