There are those magical days that one will never forget; last Sunday was one of those. We were asked to join the Transumanza Transuhumance, the taking of the sheep to the high pastures for the summer. We did this in Garfagnana with a group of passionate shepherds who are trying to preserve this ancient custom using an ancient breed of sheep. This must be ecological farming at its best. This video took a lot of making and these shepherds are so passionate.
