In this Episode  of Piazza Talk Lucca we visit Massa, the little know gem under the Apuan Alps in NW Tuscany, next to its sister town Carrara.  We usually speed past Mass on our way summer but on this winter Monday we had a couple of hours to spare so decided to stop . We realized we had been missing a little treasure. Massa's  elegant piazzas reflect that once it was a capital. Michelangelo came to the area and visited the town to choose his marble as it is know to be particularly white. Please jion us  on our introductory walk.
