OLD GHOST MINE DISCOVERED IN TUSCANY - MINIERE DI CALCAFERRO

  

 

The heat has returned to Tuscany,  Italians are on holiday, the beaches are packed and only hardy foreign tourists brave the towns and cities. We like to escape the crowds and find hidden gems and stories in the mountain.  In this video, the ghost mines and gunpowder factories in Alta Versillia tell their tragic story. The Medici family also shows their power.  So much of Tuscany is still to be explored and tourists can help these places rather than overcrowding the well know sites.
